Phlebotomist must have completed a phlebotomy course or equivalent On-the-Job Training (OJT) and obtained Phlebotomy certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP), National Credentialing Agency (NCA), American Medical Technologist (AMT), or equivalent.
