Position Highlights:

- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, through American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Computer-based training does not fulfill this requirement. Certification must be maintained at no cost to the government.
- At least one (1) year of experience in mammography, including performing tomography mammograms, is required. Experience must include the required performance of 200 exams within the last two (2) years. Some biopsy experience is also required.
- Current registration as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.

- Conducting formal training in Ultrasound Technology for students in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Phase II training program.
- Performing a variety of ultrasound exams following established protocols.

- Graduation from a radiologic technologist-training program accredited by JCERT.
